Getting a tattoo is the new-in thing going. Not only the fanatics, with a complete sleeve covered in tattoos, neither those having big-big ideas drilled on their backs, but others like us who want to experience the presence of it somewhere on our bodies, partly for fashion and part for getting those vibes out in the world are in the line.
Tattoo is something that you're choosing to live with for life. It will walk with you wherever you go, it'll represent you. One decision, one moment and it'll become a part of you! Therefore, it must be of some importance more than just fancy. It must have a meaning rather than just being 'in'.
So what do you plan on? What are those particular words you want engraved on you for life, or what is that little something that caught your eye and pierced through your heart right then. Is there something like it? If not, let me show you things that'll definitely make a knock on y'all hearts.
Semicolon- It represents the choice to continue life, because a semicolon is used when an author could have ended the sentence, but choose not to. People around the world are getting it to show support to those fighting with addiction, depression, suicide and self-injury. It can be combined with any of the others, more beauty, more meaning.
Arrow- An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. When life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means its going to launch you into something great. An upward arrow means progress, right faced is to be moving in the right direction. So this one to keep aiming.
The 2nd in the last row is the viking tattoo. It says "create your own reality." And the last one is the greek Inguz symbol. It means "where ther's a will there's a way."
Sun and the moon- Sun tattoos are the powerful ones. It symbolise rebirth, fertility and a new beginning. It says "one who will not perish." A scorpio tattoo is also associated with the sun.

Chain- A broken chain tattoo may represent someone who removed a heavy weight from upon their hearts. In Hinduism and Buddhism, chain is used to represent the chain of karma- the action of life going through its cycles.
Cloud- In ancient Chinese, clouds point to the process of transformation, spiritual. In Hindu and Tibetan beliefs, clouds reveal the concepts of transition but in a temporary way. Its more symbolic of impermanence, the understanding of detachment.
Dove- You might have seen the dove featured with both Christ and his mom, thus it symbolises divine inspiration, faith and sacrifice. It may convey the light at the end, rest after much work.
Elephant- The elephant is sacred to Buddha. Ganesha- a Hindu deity, thought to bring luck, remove obstacles, pure of heart and intent. It conveys compassion, love, truth, kindness and peace. In Tibetan beliefs, it's the symbol of creation, the giver of strength.
Feather- Many schools of thought believe that seeing a feather on our path is the direct message from a loved one who has passed to the spirit side of life. This as a tattoo indicates purity of the soul, nobility of the heart.
Heart- Heart is seen as a symbol of purity in spirit, unity, compassion, a vessel holding pure potential of love.
Horseshoe- In lunar light, horseshoes are symbolic of travel via dreaming, mystery and intuition. An upward facing horseshoe indicates luck. conversely, all the luck falls out if shoe is depicted with ends pointed down.
Knot- Buddhist knots are untied to signify releasing oneself from knots of materialism, while in Chinese symbology it represents good luck, as a binding of good energy.
Lily- Consider how a lily is grown: they do not toil, they do not spin. It's a glorious symbol of how we can give ourselves the permission to chill out.
Lotus- the meaning of a lotus tattoo is deeply rooted in spiritual purity. The Buddha for example is seen emerging from the lotus. In fact the mantra "mani padme" meaning "jewel of the lotus" is a reference to Nirvana.
Rose- Roman: honour the fallen, Greek: creative vision, Christian: unblemished faith.
