A hole in the favourite t-shirt or a shirt being worn out as much as it isn't wearable in public anymore, something edgy out of fashion now, or something that just doesn't seem to match with anything anymore. These are a few of the biggest fashion dilemmas of life. For us girls, we form an emotional attachment with our clothes and its as difficult to remove them from our life as is our never ending desire for new clothes.
Its of no use to me now, but I won't let it go too, because hey you see how loving I am :p
What I came up with this time is brilliance. Use those clothes lying in the back of your closet, that c'mon you know you're never going to use, and create something amazing. Something which either gives your personal fashion sense an edge or even works great as a piece of home decor, while still perfectly lying around somewhere in your life.
I know there already reside thousands of refashion-your-clothes ideas clinging in this world wide web but this one is different in various angles.
1. I'm as lazy as you!
2. I've no hardcore interest in stitching, so I only go for the ideas that are easiest & involve the least efforts (but still look amazing).
3. Again, it must be something amazing. Much more better than the rest.
4. You're still reading?
..so I think this is motivation enough to look at what I got for you from a big round internet tour that, now I hope, you don't have to go on anymore after this.
TIE BROOCH
The first, easiest and the prettiest idea comes from www.goodideasforyou.com
1 AND ONLY STEP:
Just pick a tie thats no more in use from the male closet of your house and pin it in style with a brooch over a little black dress! As simple as that.
SHIRT PILLOW COVER
A chic pillow cover, especially for those people who like to throw just as many as possible on their sofa or bed, made out of a men's shirt (because women's shirts are generally tinier ;p). The credits to this idea and the so helpful pictures goes to www.onsuttonplace.com
STEP 1:

| Spread out a properly buttoned up shirt and mark out the size of pillow cover you need. |
![]() |
| Cut out the marked shape-> place both sides inside out-> tuck in place with pins. |
![]() |
| Sew all 4 sides, (cutting after sewing is just for neatness, it won't show) & iron the cover while inside out. |
![]() |
| Turn around the cover (unbuttoning while inside out is easy), place in the pillow & button up. Done! |
STUFFED FOOD, EMOJIS, AND MUCH MORE
You can use the same method as given for example below for a lot of different shapes and stuff. Experiment with colours and prints you got on the clothes you wanna use into making these. I'm including pretty simple ones here for now, just cutting and sewing/pasting.
For example, You like donuts? So you'd probably like one lying around in your house too. Super credits for this Superb idea and the pictures goes to www.littleinspiration.com
STEP 1:
Cut out the 3 shapes.
The 2 similar ones will come from 1 plain t-shirt (front and back) and the 3rd will come from another t-shirt. Cut as big a size as you can fit into the t-shirt.
STEP 2:
Glue ( use hot glue or fabric glue) together the edges of 2 similar parts (both outer and inner circle) leaving some space to fill in the polyester fibre (pillow stuffing). Pull and separate the fibre beforehand, makes it easy to fill & it spreads well too.
STEP 3:
Fill in adequate amount of fibre and glue the remaining open edge. Glue the third piece onto your donut too.
STEP 4:
If you have little scraps of cloth, use it to glue the sprinklers over the donut, or just use coloured markers and draw it.
DONE!
