Busy- as we all are, equipped completely in the various roles we play daily, nobody got the time to add another process to do even if it takes you to great skin.
So we come, this time, to make right the current things you already do and achieve the desired, glowing, plump, healthy skin on a way that lies on the road you're already probably walking on.
The ultimate guide to a great skin includes certain tips that are as minimal as possible and as important to incorporate as you may know on your current skin conditions.
The first trick is know your skin
We all have acne and go through acne/dry skin at various times during a certain age, and started using products, right for us then. Many of you might still be using the same products. Our skin type is a combination of a lot other things, and serving it with the right products is the key. As soon as you put the right stuff into use, you'll know.
Second best follow up is simplicity
Incorporate into your lives, a simple beauty regime, twice a day, morning and night, and you're done.
This simple regime is generally called cleanse-tone-moisturize, which you most probably have heard of a lot many times but never did for more than 3 days in a row?!
Cleanse- You are free to pick the cleanser that suits your need. It may be cream based, milk, balm or a foam wash.
Tone- Toner acts as the second line of guard. It removes any impurities left on your skin after cleansing and gives your face a fresh glow while closing the, now clean, pores. Toners are made to suit every skin type quite well.
Moisturise- No matter how oily your skin is, moisturizing is still the best thing you can do to it. It keeps the balance of hydration in your skin, makes it plump and soft. The trick in applying a moisturiser right is to put dots of it all over your face and rub it in circular motions so as to let it be absorbed into your skin. This little face massage, twice a day, will stimulate the blood circulation, the upward motions will make it firm and keep the wrinkles at bay and leave your skin glowing in no time.
Serum
This one is optional and many of us doesn't really do it. In fact, most of us doesn't even know much about it. Serum is usually a water based liquid which is so light that it seeps into the skin easily and pass on all its properties right where they're meant to be. Makes skin healthy, give it the nutrients and vitamins it require, give it a glow.
Exfoliate
While you cleanse, use a face cloth to lightly exfoliate. And 2-3 times a week, use a mild scrub exfoliator. But excess of everything is bad, so is for exfoliation. Do not over exfoliate.
A big no to facial wipes
We know you've come back from a party, you had a drinks or two and you're in no condition to stand in front of the mirror for another 15 minutes, we get you! But the cleansing wipes in order to maintain a shelf life, of say 1.5 years, have to contain a variety of chemicals, alchohol, etc. And they being as well packed as they are, stacked one on top of the other, are a perfect home for bacteria. I bet you don't want it on your face.
Better just spray some rose water and wipe it off with a face cloth or a cotton ball. That too won't take much extra space in your purse, than the wet wipes packet.
Stop picking
Last but not at all the least, stop picking on your skin. Think about how many things you touch all day and how much germs might have been on which of them, which are now on your, err, hands. Yes, the hands that you used to touch the spot which is already dealing with alot. The zit will, on its own, disappear in a few days without anyone having to know it was there; but if you keep touching it every now and then, or just decide to pull it out earlier, it might leave you a long lasting love bite as it goes.
Just follow these general good skin rules in your daily lives and you're already half up the ladder to great skin. The door to the other half opens with a key. And the key is consistency. ;)
